This is Vikramaditya Motwane’s second film after Udaan and it seems equally promising. Based on the last leaf by O Henry the movie runs into 1950s, which is quite predictable with the music.

The album is full of creativity and imagination; it is difficult to pick the best track of the six, as all songs serve different flavors. The best part is all songs are around 4 minutes yet with meaningful lyrics and soothing music.

1.   Sawaar Loon by Monali Thakur

    The beginning of the album can’t be better than this song. Old    style of music which gives a fresh feel, the voice is quite apt with the lyrics which talks about the new entrant in the life.... badal rahi hai aaj zindagi ki chaal zara, isi bahane kyun na main bhi dil ka haal zara.

    2.   Ankahee by Amitabh Bhattacharya

  This is second and the second best song, though the tone is    pessimistic but it is a slow potion for difficult memories, if any.    Some beautiful thoughts baarishein naarazagi jatta jaati hain ambar ki.... Patte jo shaakhon se toote bewajah to nahi roothe.

   3.   Shikayatein by Amitabh Bhattacharya & Mohan Kanan

  In continuation to the pessimism, this will bring optimism to the tone, that too with lot of chorus. Starts with no music and only lyrics ... slowly the song takes you on an inclination. Na udne ki is dafaa thani parindo ne bhi wafaa jaani, Andhere ko baahon mein leke ujaale ne ghar basaya hai.

  4.   Monta Re by Amitabh Bhattacharya & Swanand Kirkire

 Bengali tune and Bengali punch line makes this track a very different item, Disha Haara Kyaamon Boka Monta Re!  Story of the heart which has lost it way, very innocently... fateh kare quile saare, bari bari jiya ko yun uchale, jiya nahi gend laage.

  5.   Zinda by Amit Trivedi

 Slightly philosophical but still very edgy song, Kuch Maangna Baaki Nahi Jitna Mila Kaafi Hai ... Heavy use of guitar and drums, very inquisitive lyrics. Hawaaon se jo maanga hissa mera to badle mein hawa ne saans di.

 6.Manmarziyaan by Amit Trivedi,Amitabh Bhattacharya,Shilpa Rao

The best and the last song, you will have to listen 2/3 times to understand a very creative use of chorus (a word or two in between 2 lines). The beginning is amazing and it never ends.
